United Carriers Achieves Australian Trusted Trader Accreditation

United Carriers is proud to announce that we have received Australian Trusted Trader (ATT) accreditation from the Australian Border Force.
Australian Trusted Trader is a government partnership with Australian businesses that demonstrate secure international supply chains and compliant trade practices. Accredited businesses gain access to a range of benefits designed to streamline legitimate trade and strengthen engagement with the Australian Border Force.
For United Carriers, this accreditation provides further recognition of the compliance, security and governance standards that underpin our customs brokerage and international freight operations.
What does this mean for our clients?
Our ATT accreditation strengthens our ability to support clients navigating increasingly complex international trade and customs requirements.
As an accredited Trusted Trader, United Carriers has access to a dedicated Australian Border Force Account Manager, providing a direct point of contact for trade compliance matters and assisting with the escalation and investigation of shipment delays where required.
The accreditation also provides access to enhanced and streamlined customs processes in eligible circumstances. These include consolidated cargo clearance, which can allow multiple suppliers within a consolidated shipment to be covered by a single import declaration, reducing administrative requirements and potentially reducing Import Processing Charges.
For cargo reporting, eligible Trusted Trader arrangements can also simplify the reporting of consolidated shipments, reducing duplication and administrative workload where the required criteria are met.
Importantly, the ATT accreditation is also internationally recognised as part of Australia's Authorised Economic Operator (AEO) framework. The ATT logo signifies that an accredited business has met international standards relating to supply chain security and trade compliance.
Strengthening our customs and compliance capability
Australian Trusted Trader accreditation complements United Carriers' existing customs brokerage, freight forwarding and supply chain capabilities.
For our clients, it provides further assurance that their international freight is being managed by an organisation that has been assessed against Australian Government requirements for trade compliance and supply chain security.
It also places United Carriers in a stronger position to work collaboratively with the Australian Border Force, remain informed of regulatory developments and continue improving the way we manage international trade on behalf of our clients.
For United Carriers, ATT accreditation is not simply a recognition. It is another capability we can use to provide our clients with greater confidence, stronger compliance and more efficient international supply chains.
